Episode 1: I thought I could make it. I really thought I could make it:
Scene 1
Revision 12
-The scene begins with a car driving down a snowy street within the forest
-Do a drone shot of the car coming down the street
Unknown man:
“I thought I could make it. I really thought I could make it.”
-The car is to stutter to a stop, the headlights flickering off, the moonlight will help us here so let’s shoot for a day with at least a half moon before the actor states his line.. Once this happens let’s switch to a headshot of the actor. The radio, formerly a news radio station, suddenly cuts into an unceasing silence. Something was happening outside. Something was there, that’s when the unnerving pressure began. This is supposed to be the sort of redetermination factor for the character.
Unknown man:
“Come on. Come on. Come on work.”
– The engine of the car sputters at each key turn. The actor here should be getting more and more frustrated with each key turn. The forest surrounding the road is to seem as if it endlessly expands, have the ground coated with snow, the snow rising with each flake hitting the ground; and that’s just set to worsen over the night, hopefully getting some dread for the audience, we’ll have to find some way to get that done. A little demanding, but practical will look better than any special effects here. We’ll slowly turn the camera to get a side shot of the actor in the car, here we’ll have a little view of the creature for those that are paying attention to the outside.
Unknown man:
“Damn it!”
-Have the actor ram his palms into the steering wheel. Shaking the car with each contact. His head droops into the wheel, the sense of defeat with the car overwhelming him. This is where the actor is supposed to exit the car, using the flashlight to light the way where he is going (lighting might be an issue when he is in the car so let’s keep an eye on that)
-the actor is to exit the car, and start looking at the engine, seeing if they can do anything.
Unknown man:
“This can’t be happening, not right now.”
-This is where the real introduction of the creature happens, its tall lengthy body, with extremely long arms, surrounded by a slight fog. We’ll have it scream or screech, this will cause a deep fog to surround the actor making everything dark, we’ll have makeup draw some sort of cursed symbol on the actor
Unknown man:
“NO NO NOT NOW YOU’VE GOT TO BE F-”
-As the actor is saying this, we’ll get a shot of the creature running on all fours towards the actor, the creature is to grab onto the actor, lifting him off the ground by his cheeks (of course we won’t do so by his cheeks, but we will lift him 8, so we have to get the rigged up), hand covering the mouth. It’ll tilt its head in curiosity, that’s when we’ll have the actor shine the light up as if he is aiming at the creature’s face. When that happens it’ll scream again, and attack the actor (PRACTICAL BLOOD PEOPLE, NOT CGI) forcing him to drop the flashlight. We’ll have the fog fade away, leaving only the car, and bloody flash light that rolls to face the camera after being dropped.

I really like the way you describe the transitions between the speaker. I can really see the “T.V. Episode” feel of this writing.

I love how this story is setup like a script. The use of fog to create an atmosphere in some scenes works well to play on the horror aspect. I also like that it is described how the creature is supposed to grab the actor.
