There ain’t no sky today,
Just another cloudy day.
Shapes filling up the sky,
Yearning for interpretation, from those who dare to look up.
As the clouds turns to rain,
Those around rush for their umbrellas.
Filling the streets with shades of black and grey,
The shuffling of those rushing to their destinations.
There ain’t no sky today,
The clouds are dropping tears.
The wind is breathing through the air,
The fog is just enough to bare.
The wind is guiding me to the right direction,
Passing through the rush hours.
Met someone special and there was a connection,
On the way to see her, buy her flowers.
The sky doesn’t look so grey,
There is sunshine on the way.
A new dawn begins to rise,
There is hope in my eyes.

I like how you were able to transition from the gloomy days to days with hope. As well as the poem’s lines having a constant connection with the sky and clouds.

Woww, I really like your description of the setting while also having a really good plot to it!

This tells a really sweet and hopeful story! I love the message that just one happy moment or connection can give you a new mindset and see that just because it’s raining, that doesn’t mean there won’t be sun again soon. I love it, great job!
