There ain’t no sky today
pouring down was a heavy rain
with the wind that throws the boat around
and there was never any sun to be found
pouring down was a heavy rain
you can feel the thunder through the ground
with no sun to be found
we need a bright light or even a little ray
you can feel the thunder through the ground
with the wind that throws the boat around
we need a bright light or even a little ray
There ain’t no sky today

I like the use of imagery throughout the poem, particularly in the second stanza when you used the line “You can feel the thunder through the ground.” Additionally, I like the first stanza, when you used the line “With the wind that throws the boat around” to help create a sense of visual imagery.

I like how you wrapped it up at the end by repeating what you wrote at the beginning. Good repetition.
